Day 13.07

The trees dwindle in number and except for the escarpment running along the road to the north, like a wide, even mountain range, the land is flat in all directions. Still the small, not more than waist high shrubbery, with rocky, sandy soil underfoot.

As the escarpment almost meets the road again vivid baubles of bushes sprinkle the gentle slope below it. Worth a ‘looksie’ on ‘google’ if you get a chance. It looks just like it in reality. Well, with a little childlike imagination. Chewie showed me parts of the road we would travel and had already predetermined some of his shots, well before we left Melbourne.
